The Chiangmai 200 Club is a fun way of raising money for charity and this year will split all monies raised between the Lanna Dog Rescue charity and the New Veterinary Clinic at The Maetang Elephant Park.

Very easy rules:

• 1000 baht buys you in and gives you a unique membership number
• The number is entered into a draw each month for the year 2009.

One member will win a 10,000 baht prize each month – giving each member 12 chances to win from an investment of just 1,000 baht for the year.

Membership is limited to 200 to increase the chance of winning.

So, 120,000 baht will be handed out in prize money, the remaining 80,000 baht, together with any monies raised at the monthly gatherings, will be handed to the charities at the end of the year.

All communication is by email and each month the winner is announced to all members – you don’t have to be present at the draws to win.

The monthly draws are great fun and there are other prizes to be won.

The first draw of 2009 takes place at Tuskers Bar on 30th January.
