Child’s Dream Foundation
‘A brighter future and a life worth living’
Child’s Dream’s mission is to help underprivileged children in the Mekong Sub Region, which includes Thailand, Burma, Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia.
Established by former bankers, Daniel Siegfried and Marc Jenni, the main office is located in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
The Mekong Sub-Region is at the core of many ongoing humanitarian crises, such as human trafficking, drug smuggling and the spread of AIDS and HIV. As with all humanitarian crises, children are often the worst affected victims.
The main objectives of Child’s Dream are:
• Providing support to projects caring for children living in poverty
• Unconditional support
• Fund allocation with integrity
• Fundraising through personal relationships and trust
• Maintain independence and diversity
• Financial transparency
• Minimal administration expenses
A significant part of the work of Child’s Dream in Thailand involves upgrading and expanding migrant schools on the Thai-Burma border.
Additionally, Child’s Dream is strongly involved in building schools in Southern Laos.
Child’s Dream has successfully accomplished more than 50 projects since its start in 2003.
