Rooftop Charity Party
The 4th Annual Rooftop Party was held on the 26 January 2008 on the roof top of the Hillside Plaza and Condotel 4 in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
This year’s fund raising winter event was in aid of the ‘Foundation to Encourage the Potential Development for Disabled People’ who are based here in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
With the help of local businesses and the community at large the organizers raised just under goal One Million Baht. This was used to purchase a vehicle so the foundation can reach the rural disabled and also to buy wheelchairs.
All money raised goes to the charity as the entire cost of the party is once again being generously underwritten by Khun Wachara Tantranont.
The chosen charity for the previous year’s Rooftop Party was the School For Life Orphanage, (a featured Giving Trust charity) and the money raised was used to build a new dormitory and sponsor field trips.
